Sinopsis :

Menceritakan tentang Ken Kaneki, yang secara ajaib selamat dari kematian setelah pertemuannya dengan seorang gadis. Gadis yang ia cintai, namun melalui pertuman itu, hidupnya berubah karena gadis itu adalah ghoul. Ghoul adalah makhluk mirip seperti manusia yang memangsa manusia. Namun saat ia dibawa ke rumah sakit dalam kondisi kritis. Setelah ia mengalami operasi, dan ia selamat, namun, Ia sadar bahwa operasi tersebut membuatnya berubah menjadi setengah ghoul. Sehingga, bagaimanapun ia harus harus mengkonsumsi daging manusia untuk bertahan hidup juga. Akhirnya ia diasuh oleh ghoul pemilik kedai kopi "anteiku". Disinalah Ken Kaneki ditantang untuk bisa bersosial dengan ghoul dan manusia sebagai makhluk setengah ghoul.
